There's No Place Like Home!!!

I am so pleased to announce that Gordon was discharged from Mayo Clinic on Wednesday, July 10!  It was a logistic nightmare to get him to the Rehab Facility in Elkhorn, WI (two of my sons drove together to Rochester so they could drive my car home....I rode in the "stretcher" transport van with Gordon) but we made it!  He is still extremely weak but has already improved tremendously in just the two days he has been there.  Hopefully it won't be long before he is back at home also.

I have to admit, it seems a little odd to be back in the shoppe and it is taken me all day to catch up on things and get back into "shop mode".  I am so glad to be back and cannot wait to start working with the new yarns that arrived while I was gone.  Since my philosophy has always been that for every project that is finished, one gets to start 3 more....and,  I completed 10 projects while I was gone...that means I get to start 30?   But, since some of them were smaller projects which didn't take too much time, I had better be slightly more disciplined I guess.

Hopefully we will be able to work on class schedules soon.  So, please let us know if there is something in particular you are wanting to learn or if you have an idea for a new KAL project.
