It's been a rough 10+ days but I am happy to say that Gordon made it through surgery and is out of ICU. He is extremely sleep deprived and hasn't had any real food since before surgery. Each day is showing improvement but no discharge date has been set yet. As in the past, he will go to a rehab facility for further care before finally coming home.
i have been making trips back and forth to Madison and spending quite a few nights with my son Cody and his family who live there. Thank goodness I have Bailey.....she has been doing a fantastic job of keeping the Shoppe in order!!!!
i will blog more later but wanted to give a quick update.
Didn’t know Gordon was having problems again but I’m glad for the positive surgery results. Hugs to you all.
Happy to hear that Gordon is improving daily! Once he gets some sleep and nourishment I am sure he will feel a lot better! Sending lots of good wishes your way!
