Hanging in There?

It's hard to believe that we are still being isolated from each other.  I am glad that the weather is getting nicer so that I can at least go outside for some fresh air and change of scenery.  I feel fortunate that I live in a rural area and have plenty of space to "roam around" outside.  I can only imagine how difficult it would be to live in a small apartment in a large city with no outdoor space....and then add children to the mixture...truly a challenge in itself.

I am so thankful for all the people who are working to keep everyone in this country safe.  They are my heros. There has been alot of reflecting on what is important in our lives and what we "truly" need.  I haven't been able to hug my children or grandchildren in over a month now.  I am happy and proud that they are all abiding by the safe at home order....but, gee, I want a hug!!  Yet, we are fortunate to all be well....and we aren't going through what alot of others are....so, blessings are being counted every day!!!

My flowerbeds are very happy with all the extra attention they have been getting this spring...so I guess that is a good thing!  I have also been doing some long needed cleaning/sorting out of closets.  I'm discovering items that I had long since forgotten; things I've wondered why I was saving them in the first place.  Major purging has been going on---I now have 3 empty shelves in my closets!!!

My hooks and needles have also been flying.  I am currently working on "Royally Striped" by Stephen West and cannot wait to share it with you.  This may be the week that it becomes a finished project!!  I am using a new yarn that will be a shoppe "exclusive".  Our own, private label yarn...I can't wait to be able to share it with all of you.

We will continue to take phone orders, as well as e-mailed orders and orders off our website.  We can ship or do non-contact delivery.  Thank you to everyone who has continued to support in this manner.  We are expecting a new shipment of Koigu later this week so be sure to look for our posts regarding those!  We will also continue to post other project ideas to our facebook page to keep you inspired.

Take care, stay safe!!
